Among Us Game Features: The Different & Important Locations

The Among Us game offers three different maps for you to play in. Each map will have different locations available. The locations are the rooms that you can enter on the map, but it is important to remember that not all rooms are built the same. Certain rooms will hold more value than the others since they provide other features, aside from just being used to perform tasks.

When you mention locations, it’s also important to mention where the different vents are. This article will discuss all of the important locations in each map and identify why they are important.

The Skeld

This map is a spaceship and is the most common and popularly used map in the game. There are 14 different locations on this map, and they are as follows:

  • Cafeteria
  • Navigation
  • Weapons
  • O2
  • Admin
  • Shields
  • Communications
  • Storage
  • MedBay
  • Electrical
  • Security
  • Upper Engine
  • Lower Engine
  • Reactor

You will need to know the important rooms in this game are the Cafeteria, Security room, and Admin room. These maps will have important features that are vital when you are playing the game.

  • Cafeteria – The place where you can find the Emergency Meeting button, so this is where you go if you want to call a meeting. This map also contains a Visual task, the Empty Garbage task.
  • Security room – This room is where you can view the security cameras of the map. So you need to go here if you want to monitor where people are and what they are doing.
  • Admin – This room is where you can locate all of the players in the game.

Other important rooms to remember are the Storage room, Weapons, MedBay, O2, and Shields. These rooms are where visual tasks are located, so you will need to go here to perform tasks that others will see.

If you’re an impostor, the most important rooms you need to know are the Navigation room, Weapons, Shields, Admin, O2, Cafeteria, MedBay, Electrical, Security, Reactor, Upper Engine, and Lower Engine. These are the rooms where vents are located.

Mira HQ

Mira HQ is a high-rise map with 13 locations available to go around. These are:

  • Greenhouse
  • Office
  • Admin
  • Cafeteria
  • Balcony
  • Storage
  • MedBay
  • Communications
  • Locker Room
  • Laboratory
  • Reactor
  • Decontamination area
  • Launchpad

The most important room you need to know is Cafeteria, Admin, Communications, and MedBay. These rooms provide features that are important in the game.

  • Cafeteria – The site where the Emergency Meeting button is located.
  • Admin – The room where you will be able to know where all the other players currently are.
  • Communications – The place where you can find the Door log. All players who pass by one of the 3 sensors located along the 3-way junction, north of the Cafeteria will get recorded on this site.
  • MedBay – The only room on the map that contains Visual tasks.

If you’re an impostor, the vents are located in Greenhouse, Office, Admin, Cafeteria, Balcony, MedBay, Decontamination area, Launchpad, Reactor, and Laboratory.

Polus

The last map is Polus, and it is a large station. This location holds the largest place in the game and contains only 11 rooms. However, many locations on the map are unnamed since they are large and long passageways. The rooms on the map are:

  • Dropship
  • Laboratory
  • Office
  • Storage
  • Specimen Room
  • Admin
  • Weapons
  • Communications
  • O2
  • Security
  • Electrical

The important rooms that you need to know in this game are the Office, Admin, and Security.

  • Office – The room where the Emergency Meeting button is located and where you need to go in case you want to hold a meeting. The unnamed room right beside it is where you can view Players’ vitals, so you will know who is still alive and who is already dead.
  • Security – The Section where you can view the security cameras to know where players are and what they are doing.
  • Admin – The room where you can know where players are currently on the map.

Other important rooms are the Laboratory and Weapons, as these are where you can find the Visual tasks on this map. There are only 2 Visual tasks, so knowing where they are is important. For Impostors, you won’t be using vents here, but holes. Identifying all the holes’ locations won’t be easy since many of them are in unnamed areas.

The rooms that have holes are Storage, Admin, Electrical, and O2. There’s a hole located outside the Electrical at the top part and another at the lower part. You can also find a hole outside the Communications room, as well as outside the Admin. Also, there’s a hole located outside the storage and another one near the Laboratory.
